SLA Scholarship

Since 2018, the Sage Lake Association has awarded two $500 scholarships to a graduating high school senior — one each from Hale High School and Ogemaw Heights High School.

Applicants must intend to pursue postsecondary education or training, with preference given to those enrolled in skilled trades programs.

The selection of recipients will be based on:
  • A strong commitment to attain a postsecondary educational or training goal.
  • Acceptance by a skilled trade certification program, trade school, or postsecondary academic institution such as a two- or four-year college or university.
  • A personal statement that includes a description of the educational and career goals you hope to achieve.
  • Demonstration of involvement in community service.

This is a one-time scholarship award that is not renewable for additional years.

Completed applications are due May 1.
