Our Fourth of July events are set!

The 11th annual Sage Lake Firecracker 5K returns on Saturday, July 6, featuring a kids' race and a 5K fun run as well as a raffle. Since 2014, the event has raised enough money to fund the purchase of branded gear each summer. And, each summer, we sell enough gear to pay for the lake’s incredible fireworks display, fund the fish stocking and help cover other important expenses. The kids’ race begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 9 a.m. start for the 5K. Registration opens in the spring. The Sage Lake Boat Parade returns on Friday, July 5, and this year's theme is movies. Cash prizes are awarded to the boats with the top three votes. Participating boats should line up at 6:45 p.m. in front of Kenyon’s Lakeside Resort. Registration details to come. The popular fireworks show starts at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, July 6. Whether you're watching from your boat, somewhere on the lake or sitting in your yard, you won't want to miss this spectacular show! |
